Fundraising is at the heart of what we do at First Step Community Project Musselburgh. The generosity of our supporters makes our work possible, and we simply couldn’t fulfil our mission without the kindness and commitment of our donors. 2025 Challenge: 365 days to raise £10,000

We are hoping to have 100 Fundraisers to raise £100 each in 2025 to help us meet our target of raising £10,000 for First Step in 2025.
You'll have 365 days to raise your £100 from 1st January 2025.

Easy Fundraising – Raise money for First Step while you shop online.
Easyfundraising turns your everyday online shopping into free donations for your favourite cause. How? Just start your online shopping first at easyfundraising, then shop as normal. Our retailers will then make a small donation to say “thank you”.

Below are examples of our latest fundraising events:

Bake Sale & Tombola

Our Bake Sale at Pinkie Farm Shop raised £400. Parents, staff and local businesses, donated cakes and items for the Tombola. Staff and Parents helped on the day to serve at the stall, which was a huge success. We also had fun meeting members of the community and sharing with them the work that we do.

Individual Fundraising

Businesses and Organisations

The support of local businesses and organisations is really important to our fundraising efforts. This comes in the form of donating money, time or people - or all three! If you would like to find out more about how you could help please get in touch. Recent examples of this include:

Tesco who supported our Community Larder
Pinkie Mains Farm Shop who supported our Bake Sale and Tombola
Stagg’s Pub who organised a quiz night on our behalf
Donations from Torness Power Station, The Inner Wheel Club of Musselburgh and Local Brownie units.
