Our Nature Nurture play sessions involve the children spending time in a natural environment within a wooded area at Prestongrange Industrial Museum over a number of weeks. They engage in gently facilitated play and exploration experiences in a variety of ways.

Climbing trees and negotiating other woodland structures
Building dens and other creations
Investigating the environment; looking at insects, plants, trees, birds, anything in the world around us.
Rope work including setting up and enjoying some time in our hammock
Making rope-swings and balance beams
Natural material arts and craft
Fire making and cooking
Small-world play with puppets and wooden figures
Role-play
Singing and stories and many many more!
